Chapter objectives- • To acknowledge the difficulties, challenges and limitations of conducting comparative analysis in sport; • To provide a contextual overview of the elite sport policy/management research domain; • To provide a framework for understanding and interpreting the philosophical, methodological, and practical challenges/limitations of comparative inquiry in sport.
