Understanding the role of the academic assessor

However, there has been little research into the role and what it entails. This article examines the role of academic assessor and discusses who can become an academic assessor, their responsibilities, and the potential challenges and benefits associated with the role. The article also explains how effective feedback and communication between academic assessors and practice assessors can support the academic progression of nursing students.
