Recitativo/Clouds and Noise is a multimedia interdisciplinary work that uses sound/music/video/text /speech and exploration of the voice. It draws on two texts; the classical Roman poet-philosopher Lucretius ('On the nature of Things') and Antonio Negri's response ('Kairos, Alma Venus, Multitudo'). the work explores the fragment (textual, visual and sonic) and is an open work in that it can take the form of different manifestations - small ensemble to large, long duration to extracts. The work was begun in 2015 and is a continuing project.
