James Bond, North Korea and the shadow of intercontinental ballistic missiles

It argues that Ian Fleming's third Bond novel, Moonraker (1955), which comes out two years before the world's first ICBM is tested by Russia, examines these cold war pursuits that the world has not yet grown out of.
