Forensic music therapy is an edited book which is edited by Prof. Helen Odell-Miller and Stella Compton Dickenson who are both affiliated to Anglia Ruskin University. Stella is a PhD student and Helen a Professor of Music Therapy at ARU. John Adlam the third editor is a group psychoanalyst. It is the first book of its kind. Helen Odell-Miller has two chapters in it, one is a research chapter. The book demonstrates diverse and innovative approaches and covers clinial development, research, supervision and discussion of institutional and multi-disciplinary team dynamics. the book will give music therapists forensic and clinical psychotherapists and psychologists, cognitive analytic therapists psychiatrists and other working in the field new material and a wider understanding of choices available for treatment and a new manualised treatment for music therapy.
